The Lovense Domi 2 is a battery-powered mini wand with a flexible neck and full Lovense app control. I've had mine for more than a year and mostly use it on high, so most of this review comes from that.
I've never used a Magic Wand or any other wand, so I can't tell you from experience how it compares. Where I compare it, I'm going on specs and buyer scores, and I say so.

The Domi 2 is the toy I own. I bought it before this site existed, partly for myself and partly to learn what Lovense hardware feels like before writing about it. That was more than a year ago, and nothing has gone wrong since: the battery, silicone, buttons and charging all work as they did when it was new.
The power is the best thing about it, as strong as Lovense says, and I mostly use it on high. A charge lasts me 5 hours or more, in line with Lovense's 5 to 6 hours, and the power doesn't drop before it stops.
What annoys me most is my hand: at 300 g it gets tired in longer sessions, and the handle gets slippery with lube. I'd still buy it again at $99 without thinking twice.

Design and build
Lovense gives the Domi 2 as 234 × 44 mm and 300 g: a mini wand, smaller than a full-size Magic Wand.
What's in the box
The back of my box lists four things: the Domi 2, a USB charging cable, a user manual and a storage bag. No attachments come with it. The same panel gives IPX6, a 1-year warranty, 3 vibration levels and up to 10 patterns.
The flexible head
This is what sets it apart from rigid wands:
- Flexible neck: in my use it bends a lot under pressure and springs back when you let go, so you can find the angle without twisting your wrist.
- Silicone head: the head is covered in body-safe silicone.
- Handle: at 300 g it tires my hand in longer sessions, and it gets slippery with lube. It vibrates a little in the hand, which doesn't bother me.

Power and performance
How strong is it?
It's very strong, as strong as Lovense says, and I mostly use it on high. I've never used a corded wand, so I can't say how close it gets to one.
How the settings feel in my use

What the vibration feels like
- Depth: in my use, only high really feels deep. The lower levels stay closer to the surface.

Noise levels
The Domi 2 is loud up close. I measured mine with an iPhone: 50.1 dB on low and 57.2 dB on high. That's a phone reading and not a lab test, and Lovense doesn't publish a figure to check it against. In my experience you hear it in the same room, but it doesn't carry through a closed door. Buyers give it 3.6/5 for quiet.

The Domi 2 runs on battery only: it can't be used while plugged in, because connecting the charger turns it off.

Without the app
Two buttons: hold the up button for 3 seconds to switch it on or off, then tap up or down to change the vibration. It always starts on the lowest level, and mine has never switched itself on in a bag or drawer. Lovense lets you save favourite levels to the buttons from the app. Custom patterns, sound and music sync, and partner or long-distance control need the Lovense Remote app.
App & privacy
- App: Lovense Remote (Hytto Pte. Ltd. / Lovense).
- App Store label: linked to you: email address, user ID, usage data; not linked to you: product interaction, crash and performance data; no tracking declared.
- Google Play: shared with other companies: device or other IDs (analytics); collected: name, email address, crash logs, diagnostics, photos (optional), videos (optional), app interactions (optional); encrypted in transit; you can ask for your data to be deleted.
- Known incidents: 2017: the Android app kept an audio recording of sessions on the phone; Lovense called it a bug and fixed it in version 3.0.7 (Help Net Security). 2025: researchers showed that a username was enough to find a user's email address and take over the account; Lovense says both flaws were fixed by 30 July 2025 (BleepingComputer).

Ways to use it
Solo
The Domi 2 is built for external clitoral stimulation, from gentle on low to very strong on high. The flexible neck helps with the angle, but in long sessions my hand still gets tired.
With a partner
It works for foreplay or during penetration. I've used it in missionary and cowgirl, where the flexible neck angles the head onto the clitoris without getting in the way, and a partner can tease with the app.
Body massage
It also works as a massager. The power and the flexible head suit sore shoulders, back, calves and feet, and the low settings are pleasant for a deep massage.
Care and maintenance
Cleaning
The IPX6 rating means water-resistant, not submersible. Clean carefully:
- Unplug first: make sure the charger is disconnected
- Wipe the head: use a damp cloth with toy cleaner on the silicone
- Keep water off the handle: don't submerge it or spray the handle and charging port
- Dry it: wipe it completely dry before storing

How the Domi 2 compares
vs. Magic Wand
Verdict: the Domi 2, unless raw power is all you want.
The Magic Wand is the full-size wand everything else gets compared with. I've never used one, so this isn't first-hand. The original is corded and very powerful, and it probably has more raw power than the Domi 2. The Domi 2 is cordless and much smaller (easier with a partner and when travelling), has a flexible neck and adds long-distance and cam features the Magic Wand lacks. For maximum power with no interest in size or apps, pick the Magic Wand; for strong power in a smaller, connected wand, pick the Domi 2.
vs. We-Vibe Wand
Verdict: it comes down to the app.
The We-Vibe Wand is the closest connected rival, with a strong motor and its own app. The Domi 2 answers with the more developed Lovense app: a bigger community pattern library, cam integration and long-distance control that has been around for years. vs. Lovense Hyphy
Verdict: the Hyphy if noise matters most, the Domi 2 for battery.
The Hyphy is Lovense's other wand at the same $99: a high-frequency, dual-end toy that's much lighter (125 g against 300 g) and rated IPX7. Buyers give both 5.0/5 for power, and the Hyphy scores higher for quiet (4.4/5 against 3.6/5), but Lovense's battery figure is lower: 135 to 310 minutes against 300 to 360. I haven't used the Hyphy, so this rests on Lovense's specs and buyer scores.
vs. Lush 4 (Wearable)
Verdict: different categories.

How the Domi 2 does in each use

This is what the Domi 2 is built for, and probably where its 4.8/5 for orgasms comes from. The mini wand puts a lot of power into a broad head made for external clitoral stimulation. Alone, the noise is less of a worry and the battery lasts: mine runs 5 hours or more, mostly on high, with no drop in power. The limit in long sessions is my hand, which gets tired holding 300 g.

Who should skip the Domi 2
The Domi 2 is a very strong external wand (buyers rate it 5.0/5 for power), but it's the wrong buy for several people. Skip it if:
- Quiet matters to you. At 3.6/5 the Domi 2 has one of the lowest buyer scores for quiet in the Lovense range, and you hear it at high power. For discreet wear, the Lush 4 and Ferri are much quieter.
- You want internal or insertable stimulation. The Domi 2 is an external wand. For G-spot or internal play, the Lush 4 or a rabbit-style toy fits better.
- You want something light to hold. At 300 g my hand gets tired in longer sessions, and the handle gets slippery with lube. The Hyphy is much lighter at 125 g (Lovense's figure), though I haven't used it.
- You're sensitive to intensity. If strong vibration overwhelms you, a gentler toy may suit you better; you can run it low, but you'd pay for power you won't use.

Getting the most from the Domi 2
A few habits that help:
- Start low and build. It always switches on at the lowest level, which is good for warm-up. Starting at maximum can be overwhelming or leave you numb, so build up gradually. I end up on high most of the time.
- Use a barrier for indirect stimulation. If direct contact at high power is too intense, stimulate through underwear or a thin layer of fabric to soften it.
- Consider the attachments. I haven't tried them. Lovense sells them to change coverage and sensation, broad for diffuse stimulation or focused for a precise spot.
