Reviews aren't "set and forget." Brands ship firmware updates, prices shift, and my own opinions sharpen the longer I live with a product. This page tracks what's changed, when, and why — so you can see this site stays current rather than going stale.
I measured my own Domi 2 with an iPhone: 50.1 dB on low and 57.2 dB on high. Lovense publishes no noise figure for it, so noise used to drop out of its score, which hid its main weakness. The low reading now counts, and the Domi 2 review goes from 8.6 to 8.3. How I review states this one exception. I also corrected other pages that still called it the most powerful Lovense toy, listed a plug-in mode it doesn't have, or showed $119 instead of $99.
The Domi 2 review now includes what I've found in more than a year of use: battery life, noise, pairing and range, and what annoys me, mainly a tired hand in longer sessions. I removed comparisons with wands I haven't used, along with repeated sections, and corrected claims the data doesn't support: it's no longer called the most powerful or the loudest Lovense toy. The review also compares it with the Hyphy now.
The Domi 2 review now has photos of the Domi 2 I own: the box, what comes in it, the flexible neck, a splash check and a weight check. On a digital scale it reads 10.5 oz, about 298 g, in line with Lovense's 300 g.
On the 11 comparison pages (Lush 4, Lush 3 and Lush Mini, and the four Lovense male toys), in all nine languages, I replaced weights, sizes, range and noise figures that didn't match Lovense's published data. The Lush 4 and Lush 3 weigh 75 g and the Lush Mini 58 g; Lovense gives them up to 105, 75 and 93 m of range outdoors and 36 to 38 dB at the lowest setting. I removed the rows and answers built on figures Lovense doesn't publish, such as motor speed, release years and Bluetooth ranges for the male toys. Elsewhere I fixed a few battery, charging, water-resistance and size figures, and the Lovense prices quoted on other brands' reviews.
The Lush comparison tool showed wrong weights, Bluetooth ranges, insertable lengths and noise figures for the Lush 4, Lush 3 and Lush Mini. They now match Lovense's published figures (for example 75 g for the Lush 4 and Lush 3 and 58 g for the Lush Mini, and ranges of up to 105, 75 and 93 m outdoors). I removed the release-year and vibration-speed rows, which had no published source, and the "SenseMotion" row: that is a LELO feature, not a Lovense one. The Lush Mini's LED lights and 40-minute charge are now shown correctly.
The 14 best-of lists, 30 comparisons and 13 guides on the blog are now written in plainer language, in English and Spanish. I checked their battery, charging, water-resistance, size and price figures against the makers' published data again, corrected spec and feature errors, removed claims I couldn't support, such as latency figures and "only toy that does this" lines, and made each page's FAQ match the answers shown on it.
The remaining Lovense reviews, from the Ambi to the Vulse, are now written in plainer language too. I rewrote the Lush 4, Lush 3, Lush Mini, Velvo, Gush 2, Solace Pro and Gravity reviews and six of the most-read guides (Lovense vs We-Vibe, the couples guide, Lovense for men, cam models, Lush 4 vs Ferri and troubleshooting) in plainer language, and checked their battery, charging, water-resistance and price figures against Lovense's published data again. Each page's FAQ now matches the answers shown on it.
The Exomoon, Hush 2, Lush 3, Solace Pro, Solace, Tenera 2 and Vulse reviews now use Lovense's latest published figures for battery, charging and water resistance, with updated pros, cons and verdicts. The Hush 2 review now lists all four sizes, and prices across the blog follow Lovense's current list prices.
All 69 reviews have two new parts. "Without the app" explains what the buttons do on their own, from the maker's manual. An "App & privacy" box sums up what the App Store and Google Play labels say each app collects, whether you can ask for your data to be deleted, and any security incident reported in the press. Battery life now shows the maker's full range, and each review opens with a one-line verdict.
Until now Lovense toys and the other brands were scored in two different ways, which made their numbers hard to compare. Every one of the 69 toys is now scored on the same nine criteria (battery life, water resistance, noise, value, warranty, owner ratings, materials, app and long distance, spec transparency), with the weights and rules published on How I review, and each review shows its own breakdown. Many scores moved, in both directions: the Lush 4 went from 9.4 to 8.8 and the Diamo from 8.0 to 9.2, for example. Rankings, tier lists and "highest-rated" claims across the site were corrected to match.
Also in this update: each review now says whether it is hands-on (only the Domi 2) or research-based; competitor reviews now suggest two or three alternatives from different brands instead of a Lovense one; and the pop-ups and the top promo bar are gone.
Every page has a new, calmer layout: a clearer menu with every review grouped by category, a table of contents that follows you through each review and guide, and a blog you can search and filter by topic. The reviews, scores, prices and sources themselves have not changed. If anything looks broken, tell me.
The Lush 4 vs Lush 3 vs Lush Mini and Lovense masturbator comparisons, and the nine head-to-heads under them (such as Lush 4 vs Lush 3 and Max 2 vs Calor), can now be read in French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian and Portuguese, as well as English and Spanish, with their figures rechecked against Lovense's own. Finished expanding the remaining 19 reviews with the same format as the earlier priority batch: a by-use-case breakdown (solo, partner, long-distance, repeat sessions), an honest "who should skip this" section with links to better-fit alternatives, category-specific setup tips, and a head-to-head against a non-Lovense competitor — plus two new FAQ entries per review. Every review on the site now carries this structure, and "Last updated" dates have been refreshed to reflect it.
Went back through every review and tightened the sections where I was leaning too hard on generic "here's what people say" framing. Replaced it with my own direct read on each product — what I'd actually tell a friend, and who I think each toy is and isn't for. If a review feels more opinionated than it used to, that's why — it's closer to how I actually talk about these things.

Added a fuller breakdown of the rating methodology to the How I Review page after a few readers asked why scores cluster in a tight range. Short answer: every score is calibrated against the rest of the Lovense catalogue, not the entire market — full explanation is on that page now.
Launched with reviews across G-spot vibrators, masturbators, prostate massagers, and couples' toys — the result of about two years of testing, research, and note-taking that started with one Domi 2 and a very inconvenient 15,000km.
