The Lush Mini is Lovense's compact Lush: a shorter insertable part, a narrower 31 mm egg, and the same Bluetooth 5.0 and app features as the Lush 4. Some people find the standard Lush uncomfortable to wear for long stretches, and the Mini is made for them.

So the question is whether the smaller size suits you better, given that you pay the same $129 for a shorter battery.

Who should buy the Lush Mini?

Design and ergonomics

The Lush Mini keeps the Lush egg-and-tail shape in a smaller size. The egg sits inside on the G-spot and the tail stays outside as an anchor, which is what stops a wearable from shifting or slipping out when you move.

How it stays in place

The Mini has a shorter tail than the standard Lush, in the same silicone as the body:

• Inside: the 31 mm egg sits against the front vaginal wall, where the G-spot is. It is 6 mm narrower than the Lush 4's 37 mm egg.
• Outside: the tail lies against the body and holds the egg in position.
• When you move: at 58 g it is light, and buyers say it stays put.

App and connectivity

The Lush Mini runs on the free Lovense Remote app for iOS and Android, like the Lush 4. It connects over Bluetooth 5.0, and Lovense lists a range of up to 93 m outdoors (105 m for the Lush 4, 75 m for the Lush 3).

The Lush Mini works with the main cam platforms (Chaturbate, Streamate, Cam4 and others) through the Lovense Browser Extension:

• Tip-activated vibrations: set an intensity for each tip amount (for example, 10 tokens = 5 seconds low, 100 tokens = 30 seconds high)
• Games: polls, raffles or "spin the wheel", where each result triggers a different pattern
• Goal modes: the intensity rises as you get closer to a tip goal

With up to 236 minutes per charge, charge it fully before you go live. It is quiet and small enough for cam work, but for long shifts the Lush 4 (about 5.8 hours) is the better choice.

Without the app

One button: hold it for 3 seconds to switch the toy on or off, and tap it to cycle through the built-in vibration settings. The LED lights are switched on or off in the app. Custom patterns, sound and music sync, and partner or long-distance control need the Lovense Remote app.

Switch the LED lights off in the app, and nothing shows that the toy is on. That matters for:

• Dates at restaurants, bars, or movie theaters

Storage

• You stream or need long sessions. Its battery (about 4 hours) is shorter than the Lush 4's, so for long streams or sessions choose the Lush 4 (about 5.8 hours).
• You want the fuller, curved G-spot egg. That is the Lush 4.
• You're shopping on price. The Mini costs the same $129 as the Lush 4; it is a size choice, not a budget one. If money is what matters, the Lush 3 costs $10 less.
• You mainly want external clitoral stimulation. The Mini is an internal G-spot wearable. For clit-focused play, a different form factor suits you better.

Buy the Mini for comfort and size, not for price or battery. If "the standard Lush felt too big" describes you, this is the one; otherwise another Lush will suit you better.

Setup and getting the most from the battery

The Mini pairs quickly over Bluetooth 5.0, and the disconnection complaints common with the older Lush 3 rarely come up. What you need to manage is the battery, about 4 hours. A few habits help:

1. Use the fast charging. A full charge takes 40 minutes, the fastest in the Lush line, and 7 minutes gives about an hour. Charge it just before a session rather than overnight.
2. Install the Lovense Remote app (not Connect) and pair it over Bluetooth on first use. Remote has the long-distance, music-sync and pattern features.
3. Insert with the curved end toward the G-spot. The light body is forgiving, but the Mini stays best positioned when the head faces the front vaginal wall and the tail rests just outside.
4. For long distance, charge fully first. Your phone holds the Bluetooth link while your partner controls it over the internet, so start each session with a full battery.
5. Keep your phone in range during solo use, and don't put your body between the toy and the phone.

The Lush Mini scores 8.4 on my grid, just below the Lush 4 (8.8). It has the same app and the same $129 price, buyers rate its vibration just as highly, and it is built for bodies the standard model doesn't fit comfortably. The trade-off is a shorter battery (up to 236 minutes against 350), which its 40-minute full charge and 7-minute rapid charge make easier to live with.
